What is Extra Care?

Extra Care, one of the five levels of care offered by Adorn, bridges the gap between conventional retirement living and residential or nursing care. It is available through St Ninian’s Court, a complex of 36 managed apartments for Over 50s near central Douglas designed and built by Hartford Homes.  Residents can choose from a suite of support services provided by Adorn Domiciliary Care Limited, giving them the perfect blend of independence, comfort and security.

Stylish, modern and superior in quality, the St Ninian’s Court apartments have been specially designed by Hartford Homes to suit people over the age of 50.  Set in peaceful, attractive surroundings in the grounds of St Ninian’s Church, the complex enjoys a fantastic location close to central Douglas and all its amenities.

Maintenance of the apartments and their grounds is undertaken by a management company, owned by the residents and covered by a single annual service charge. This leaves you free to enjoy your life amongst like-minded people.
